BREAKING NEWS: Milwaukee Valve's Terry Sherman Dies
Terry Sherman, 54, vice president of sales at Milwaukee Valve, died suddenly March 5 while attending a trade show in Dallas. He joined the company in 1985 as midwest regional sales manager and was promoted to national sales manager a year later. Upon the acquisition of Hammond Valve in 1991, he was chosen to run the Hammond division. As vice president of sales since 2001, Sherman supervised the consolidated sales functions of Milwaukee Valve and Hammond Valve. He spent more than 30 years in the PVF industry and last year was appointed to the executive council of the American Supply Association's Vendor Member Division. He is survived by his wife, Karen, a son, Brian, and daughters, Kelly and Brittany. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
