Watsco (Miami) appointed Alan Potamkin to the company's board of directors. Potamkin is the co-chairman of Potamkin Cos., a privately held organization with $1.7 billion in sales that operates 75 automotive dealerships in eight states throughout the United States. Potamkin is also founder and a board member of Office Depot for Eastern Europe. He previously served as a director of Watsco from 1994-2000.
