- Empire Comfort Systems signed a letter of intent to buy the Broilmaster gas grill division of Martin Industries. The purchase is an attempt to help round-out Empire's product offerings.
- Parker Hannifin Corp. acquired Atenas, a manufacturer of air conditioning and refrigeration components in the Latin America market. Atenas serves global and local air conditioning and refrigeration original equipment manufacturers.
