Ferguson buys Gage Co.'s Michigan, Indiana sites

Ferguson Enterprises Midwest, a subsidiary of Ferguson Enterprises, acquired certain assets of plumbing and PVF distributor The Gage Co.'s (Portland, Maine) Midwest region. The nine Michigan branches (Ann Arbor, Detroit, Flint, Jackson, Lansing, Muskegon, Paw Paw, Port Huron and Saginaw) and two Indiana locations (Columbus and Indianapolis) within that region will now conduct business as Ferguson Enterprises.

Ferguson also acquired certain assets of GCI Appliance Contract Sales. GCI has showrooms in the Virginia cities of Chesapeake, Richmond, Roanoke and Williamsburg. These showrooms will be replenished through Ferguson's new Richmond Service Center.
GCI's current management, including General Manager Jim McGuffin, will continue with Ferguson.
