A.O. Smith Water Products Co. is moving its headquarters from Irving, Texas, to Ashland City, Tenn., site of the primary manufacturing facility of State Industries, which was acquired by A. O. Smith. The move was expected to be completed by July 1. The offices will undergo a major renovation. A Customer Care Center is under construction that will include state-of-the-art training and customer support facilities. Also, A.O. Smith plans to maintain separate State and A.O. Smith brand identities with separate distributor networks, according to Ron Massa, president, in a statement. A.O. Smith plans to launch promotional programs for both brands.
