NS Group has introduced a new seamless OCTG product, Koppel MTX, made of martensitic stainless steel. The product is said to embody high strength and toughness with outstanding corrosion resistance, and is ideally suited for sweet and slightly sour oil and gas applications and hostile environments, including offshore, cold climate and deep hot well. NS Group has a license agreement with Advanced Steel Technology to exclusively manufacture and sell the product. They anticipate a commercial launch in the second half.
