HVAC Excellence, the accrediting organization for HVACR education programs, announced that the 26 Tennessee Technology Centers recently completed standardization of HVACR programs and have applied for accreditation for such programs.

The accrediting organization will review the application of each school and conduct an on-site evaluation of each campus. Each program is required to meet strict standards in curriculum, student facilities, placement services, financial aid, training facilities, equipment and safety.

The Technology Centers are part of the Tennessee Board of Regents system, the seventh largest system of higher education in the United States. It enrolls more than 80% of all students attending Tennessee public institutions of higher education.

The HVAC Excellence Accreditation Program establishes standards for HVACR education at the secondary, postsecondary and continuing education levels.
