The company was founded in 1945 by William Sevinor as a traditional wholesale and trade supplier of plumbing and heating supplies and fixtures. It evolved into a retail showroom and trade and wholesale supply operation under the leadership of Ralph Sevinor, his son and the current president.

In addition to part-time jobs working for the family business, Jason Sevinor has been employed as a plumber's apprentice, worked part-time for a manufacturers rep firm and created and ran the builder sales department at a Maryland branch of Ferguson Enterprises.
