Uni-Tech Engineering has devised a “ShafTest” portable ultrasonic flaw detection system for testing shafts on pumps, compressors and other heavy equipment. Periodic use of the system is intended to maximize service life of shafts, while providing comprehensive condition intelligence to avoid catastrophic failures.
