Noland Co. (Newport News, Va.) opened a newly built $5 million, 51,000-sq.-ft. sales and distribution center in Bonita Springs, Fla., to serve as headquarters for its growing network of plumbing and HVAC branches in southwest Florida. Centrally located between Fort Myers and Naples, Fla., it sits on five acres of a business park.
The new facility includes a 3,000-sq.-ft. plumbing showroom, the Bath & Idea Center, which carries luxury bathroom fixtures, and a sales counter area featuring Prostock, a Ruud-developed merchandising program for HVAC repair parts.
This is the first location to use Noland's new prototype building design, which incorporates the warehouse, counter area and showroom into one building to more efficiently serve customers and reduce construction costs.
The branch, which can stock more than $2 million worth of inventory, provides support for satellite locations in Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral and Port Charlotte.
