Ron Warren has taken over as president and CEO of Central States Group, a leading Midwestern wholesaler of fluid handling equipment headquartered in Omaha, Neb. Warren succeeds Central States co-owner Steve Anderson, who will continue to serve as chairman. Dick Stenger, Central States founder, will also continue to serve as vice president and secretary of the corporation. There has been no change in the ownership of the company. Warren will report to the Central States Group board.

Prior to joining Central States, Ron Warren was president and COO for Sharon Piping and Equipment in Northlake, Ill., and TC Manufacturing in Evanston, Ill. Warren also had served as president of the Polymer Group of John Crane Inc.; vice president of sales and marketing for the McCanna Division of British Tire and Rubber, as well as Keystone Valve, U.S.A. He has a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago.

According to Anderson, “Our long-term goal is to develop and nurture the next generation of Central States leaders. Ron has the skills and energy to accomplish this while increasing year-to-year sales and profit growth.”
