The Elkay Division of Elkay Manufacturing Co., has restructured its management following the retirement of John E. Heilstedt, executive vice president/sales and marketing, at the end of January.

Mark Lawson was promoted to vice president and general manager, sink products and accessories. Jack Krecek was promoted to vice president and general manager, water cooler products. Tom Samanic was promoted to general manager, CIS products, to address the commercial market. Bill Blaine was promoted to senior vice president/sales, overseeing all division sales efforts in wholesale, retail and emerging channels. Steve Sorensen was promoted to director/marketing services. Mark Whittington was promoted to vice president/manufacturing, Elkay Division.

Heilstedt served Elkay since 1992 and will continue to consult with the company, but will also be able to work with other companies. Over the years he has held various positions with industry associations, including: board member for the American Supply Association, chairman of the Vendor Member Division, and board member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association.

In other news, Al Huneycutt, vice president/sales and marketing, Halsey Taylor, has announced his intention to retire in early 2005 after nearly 25 years with Halsey Taylor, including the last 12 years with Elkay.
