Invensys was awarded the 2003 Frost & Sullivan Product Innovation Award in the thermostat market segment for its I-Series. In its analysis, Frost & Sullivan said it found the Invensys I-Series successfully combats a major industry challenge - the customer perception that programmable thermostats are too difficult to use. Invensys formed focus groups made up of contractors and the actual end users who are the decision makers in thermostat purchases to come up with the I-Series menu-driven programming method.
