A full line of retaining cable kits for use on overhead chainwheel installations provides a safeguard against accidents occurring if the handwheel/chainwheel assembly separates from the valve and falls. The kits are offered in three series to fit chainwheel and impact operators from 4- to 30-inches in diameter.
