TOTO USA said it would donate $75,000 in plumbing products - 225 matching suites of toilets and lavatories - to nine Florida chapters of Habitat for Humanity, outfitting all bathrooms in the houses these affiliates will build during 2004. The company's contribution supports the efforts of Gunnar Baldwin, its senior national accounts manager, who rowed his 18-foot guide boat 300 miles along Florida's section of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway from Melbourne to Key Largo during the month of January. Baldwin stopped at each of the nine affiliates to make an educational presentation on the importance of installing and maintaining “green plumbing” both to the homeowner and the environment.
