Management Information Systems Group (MISG) has partnered with the HARDI Center for Advancing Technology to provide a suite of electronic data interchange (EDI) services to HARDI members through the introduction of its Translink™ EDI solution. The solution allows users to trade business documents without complicated programming and mapping by translating data to a standard format, such as the HARDICAT EDIExpress guidelines.

HARDICAT and MISG intend to provide services that simplify EDI implementation by establishing common EDI document formats that all trading partners can use, translate EDI document formats on the network, and enable flexibility and access to trading partners on other EDI networks.

MISG has worked for several years with the American Supply Association to provide similar services to the plumbing, electrical and industrial markets.
