In 1995, the seed for the Endowment was planted by its namesake, the late Karl E. Neupert. The "Pipeline to the Future" campaign, as it was initially known, was born out of Neupert's dedication to continuing education in our industry, and to his belief that an educated workforce was critical to the future success of the wholesale channel.
Then a Past President of the ASA Education Foundation Board of Trustees and subsequently President of ASA itself, Neupert successfully recruited a team of his most influential and respected colleagues from the wholesaler, manufacturer and independent representative ranks, and began the quest to raise a permanent fund to support ongoing education in our industry.
