The Model DV-5, an "automatic water control" valve, features a single moving piece - a reinforced, natural rubber diaphragm. It can be used in deluge, preaction, and special-type fire protection systems, and is designed for both vertical and horizontal applications. The model features an internal and external Rilsan corrosion-resistant coating for use with seawater and brackish water supplies, and is more durable in corrosive atmospheres. The DV-5 is currently available in four- and six-inch valve sizes.
