On December 13, 2004, First Supply in Madison, Wisconsin, hosted a lunch honoring Ed Felten on the occasion of his retirement as the company's Chairman of the Board. The company invited not only their current managers and executive staff to the luncheon, but also retired employees and key customers, as well as some industry friends.
Ed, who moved with his wife, Cathy, to Phoenix two years ago, may be retiring from his 40+ years of work with First Supply, but he's not going away. In fact, he's started work on writing a book on “Employee Supervision and Motivation,” which he'll publish in collaboration with ASA.
Here, posing in First Supply's “Badger Training Room” are (l to r), Joe Poehling, President and new Chairman of First Supply's Board; Mike Miller, General Manager, Inge Calderon, ASA's Executive Vice President; Ed Felten; Dave Prahler, VP/MIS Director, and Dick Adix, COO.
