Spirax Sarco Inc., has hired one and promoted two to its senior management staff, according to Mark E. Vernon, president and general manager. Roger W. Barnes has been named the new vice president of marketing and technology of Spirax Sarco Inc. He will have responsibility for all marketing, product management, new product development, training and marketing communications activities for the company. He will also be responsible for the Engineered Systems Division. Patrick A. Tillisch has been promoted to vice president of sales. He will be responsible for all outside sales and customer support functions. Richard S. Gavlin has been promoted to the new position of vice president of energy services. Gavlin's primary role will be to continue development of the company's energy services business. He has been charged with the task of assisting customers in their goal of reducing energy and operation costs. He will also assume leadership of the Spirax Sarco national accounts team.
