Moen inducted Bruce Carbonari, former president, CEO and chairman, into the Moen Hall of Fame. Carbonari served as president of Moen from 1990 until 1997, became CEO in 1995, and in 1998, transitioned into chairman/CEO of Moen as he assumed the additional responsibility of being president/CEO of the Kitchen & Bath Group of Fortune Brands Home and Office, Moen's parent company. In 2000, Carbonari was promoted to his current position of president/CEO of Fortune Brands Home and Hardware.
The Moen Hall of Fame was inaugurated in 2003 with five founding members, including inventor Al Moen. Carbonari was welcomed as the sixth inductee into the Hall of Fame by Moen's current President/CEO, Dick Posey. While president of Moen, Carbonari refocused the Moen brand with a greater emphasis on consumers, which significantly improved its market share position, the company said.
