The AHR Expo® will host the finals of the HVACR technical competition for SkillsUSA, which serves teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical occupations. The event is sponsored by the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute and will take place on Feb. 7, 2005, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. in Orlando, Fla. It will determine who goes on to the WorldSkills competition in Helsinki, Finland, in May 2005.

In other news, the United States Green Building Council is the latest association to join 20 others, including HARDI, GAMA and the American Boiler Manufacturers Association, in endorsing the show.
