Cox ProGroup LLC, based in Huntersville, N.C., has been formed as a dedicated manufacturers representative agency to represent plumbing products exclusively to Ferguson, Newport News, Va. Its current territory includes southern Virginia and North and South Carolina. Cox ProGroup services only Ferguson branches and satellites, representing manufactured products for the high-end destination showrooms. Represented companies include Clarke Industries, which supplies Ferguson with PROFLO and Mirabelle acrylic bathing products, and Briggs Industries, supplier of china and steel fixtures for Ferguson's PROFLO private label brand. Also, Cox ProGroup represents all PROFLO faucets distributed by Ferguson, as well as its accessories line. Cox ProGroup handles other manufacturers that distribute to Ferguson similar to FORMS + Fixtures, which sells fine furniture for the bathrooms. Principal David M. Cox owned an independent wholesale plumbing and heating company in Illinois for many years and was one of the founders of WIT & Co.
