Jacuzzi Brands appointed Alex P. Marini president and chief operating officer in August, succeeding Donald C. Devine, who left the company to pursue other interests. Marini also remains president of Zurn Industries, a position he has held since 1996. Prior to that he was president of Wilkins, a division of Zurn, since 1987. He first joined Zurn in 1969. In other news, Marie S. Dreher was named to the newly created position of senior vice president/corporate development and strategy, also in August. She had held positions of increasing responsibility at Millennium Chemicals.
