Mike McDermott, president of Thomas Supply Co., joined the company, which distributes plumbing, heating and industrial supplies, in 1982. First Supply plans to expand the inventory immediately and hire additional people, according to Dick Adix, president of First Supply. Kevin Miller will oversee the Racine location as general manager. This expands First Supply's presence in the southeast Wisconsin market to four locations, and a total of 16 locations in the Midwest.
