Acquisitions...Hughes Supply

Hughes Supply (Orlando, Fla.) said it completed its acquisition of Ram Pipe and Supply, Yuma, Ariz., a one-branch distributor of plumbing and water and sewer products in June. Terms were not disclosed. Ron Martin, who founded Ram Pipe and Supply in 1989, will remain with the company. It generated sales of about $14 million for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2004, Hughes reported.
