Fourteen new Trane Parts Centers have opened in North and Latin America. They provide heating, ventilation and air conditioning parts to members of the HVAC, design and construction industries. Also available are non-Trane items, which consist of more than 100 of the most recognized wholesale parts and supply lines in the industry.
The company plans to add more than 12 new product lines in 2005, including PTACs, Klein Tools, SlimDuct, refrigerant monitors, Rydlyme and Dwyer Instruments. Each center is equipped with an express order system ready to ship any stocked emergency repair order part the same day. The ComfortSite ordering system is available online 24/7.
In other news, Trane named Jim Kornemann new business product manager of global parts and Larry Wash, services and contracting leader for its commercial business.
