NS Group recorded second quarter sales of $54.9 million, a 41% increase over the same quarter of 2001. Net loss for the quarter was $3.9 million, compared with $14.3 million in the second quarter of 2001. Net sales for the six-month period ended June 30, 2002, were $93.7 million, compared to $184.8 million for the same period of 2001. The first half 2002 net loss was $18.2 million, compared with $45.6 million in the prior year period.
