Wolseley(Reading, England) appointed Larry Stoddard as senior vice president of business development for Wolseley Group. Stoddard joined Ferguson, Wolseley's U.S. subsidiary, in 1981 as a management trainee. During his 25 years with the company he led Ferguson's successful sales efforts in southeast Florida and assumed regional responsibility for the entire southeast portion of the United States. Most recently he has been responsible for the operation of all 1,000 branches across the United States. In 2005 Stoddard was named senior vice president of business development for Wolseley's North American operations, including Ferguson, Stock Building Supply and Wolseley Canada, which combined represent about 60% of Wolseley's global sales.
