The National Kitchen & Bath Association announced that as of Jan. 1, 2006 it would no longer be providing financial or administrative support to the Center for Kitchen and Bath Education and Research.

CKBER was organized under the guidance of NKBA but has been operating as an independent organization since July 2005.
