Venango Supply(Oil City, PA) acquired Kennedy Supply Co., new Castle, PA, a distributor of plumbing and HVAC products which has serviced the western Pennsylvania area since 1938. It will operate as the third branch of Venango Supply, which also has a location in Erie, PA, and will continue to serve its existing customer base while also penetrating new markets and expanding its mix. Venango will retain the company's four employees. The previous owner has left to pursue other interests. Kennedy Supply has a 10,000-sq.-ft. headquarters/warehouse which Venango plans to upgrade in the near future, according to Tod Eckert, co-owner of Venango Supply with his brothers, Dick and Bill Eckert.
