Robert Bosch Tool Corp. appointed John Surane president of Skil Power Tools. He had been senior vice president of sales, North America for the Robert Bosch Tool Corp. He joined Skil as a sales associate in 1991, became a district manager, and spent the next four years in the national accounts department at Skil-Bosch Power Tool Co., which would later become Robert Bosch Tool Corp. Between January 2000 and January 2003, he worked for The Home Depot as a product merchant with responsibilities for the hand tool, fastening tool and storage product categories. Surane returned to the Robert Bosch Tool Corp. as vice president of sales in 2003.
