Tim Morrissey, president of Morrissey Associates, and Patrick Murphy, president of Select Spec Sales, announced the merger of their respective agencies effective April 3, to become Midwest Spec, LLC.

The new rep agency will focus on commercial, plumbing and heating products, as well as industrial pipe, valves and fittings. Patrick Murphy is now the vice president for Midwest Spec. The founder of Select Spec, Bill Rueve, recently retired from the business. Combined, the two agencies provide more than 45 years of experience.
Midwest Spec represents the following manufacturers: Apollo, Delany, Eljer, Hotbox, H O Trerice, IPEX, Lawler, Oasis, Jay R. Smith, T&S Brass, Tylok and Watson McDaniel. The company employs 14 associates, seven outside and seven inside. It will maintain two regional sales offices in Cincinnati and North Jackson, OH.
