Mestek Inc.opened a 94,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing and distribution center in Mississauga, Ontario. With about 80 employees at this location, it is more than twice as large as its previous Canadian facility. It will produce commercial copper fin water heaters and boilers under the RBI name, as well as distribute a variety of Mestek's commercial and residential heating and air-conditioning products in Canada. The new center includes a presentation classroom for Mestek contractors, installers and customers, and a 1,500-sq.-ft. hands-on training laboratory.
