Wolseley plc (Reading, UK) named Larry Stoddard chief operations officer and appointed him to Wolseley’s Executive Committee, which provides overall leadership to the Wolseley Group. Stoddard reports to Chip Hornsby, group chief executive. In this new role, Stoddard’s focus will be on driving overall business and margin improvements across the Wolseley Group, determining improvement measures to be implemented and coordinating the creation of a business model and “best practice” business processes that improve customer service.
