Both Moen and Blanco America will have new presidents in October. Jacuzzi Brands already has a new president/CEO in place.

Blanco America announced a six-month transition plan that will culminate in the retirement of current president Chuck Burhans in October. The 35-year plumbing industry veteran has headed the company since 1996. Upon completion of the transition, Burhans will remain on Blanco’s global advisory board, according to Achim Schreiber, CEO Kitchen Technology, Blanco Germany. Richard (Dick) E. Posey.

At Moen, Richard (Dick) E. Posey, president and CEO for the last five years, announced plans to retire effective Oct. 1, 2007. Under Posey’s leadership, the company has entered new market segments, introduced luxury brand ShowHouse® by Moen®, expanded its business internationally and improved Moen’s brand equity, the company said.

David B. Lingafelter.

He will be succeeded by David B. Lingafelter, Moen’s president of U.S. businesses. He joined Moen in 1990 as manager of retail service and since that time has served in a variety of capacities, including product manager, senior product manager, marketing manager (retail and wholesale), group product manager – kitchen, director of marketing – kitchen, vice president marketing – faucets, and vice president of marketing and product development. Most recently, Lingafelter was vice president and general manager for Moen’s U.S. wholesale business unit.

Jacuzzi Brands Corp. appointed Thomas D. Koos president and chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors effective April 2, 2007. He joins the company following more than 20 years in general management and senior finance, marketing and strategy/business development assignments. Since 2004, he has been corporate officer and group vice president/president, consumer products worldwide, for Black & Decker Corp. Before that, he spent seven years with Newell Rubbermaid Corp.

Koos succeeds Al Marini, who will now focus on the commercial water management platform at Rexnord Corp., which includes the existing Zurn Industries business. Marini also will remain a member of the company’s board of directors.
