Grundfos U.S. announced that its president, Larry Wimmer, who is also president/CEO of Grundfos North America, will retire at the end of 2007. Dennis Wierzbicki will become president/general manager of Grundfos U.S. effective May 1. For the past three years, Wierzbicki has been involved in the firm’s acceleration and has advanced its sales efforts in the U.S. each year.
Wimmer will continue in his role as CEO of Grundfos North America through 2007, facilitating the management transition of both Grundfos U.S. and PACO Pumps.
Also, Gregers Johansen will assume the role of president/general manager of PACO Pumps in Brookshire, TX, effective June 1. Johansen came to the U.S. after prior roles with Grundfos in Japan, Eastern Europe, and Denmark.
