Tavenner
Wolseley plc (Reading, England) appointed Bill Tavenner to director of the new Commercial/Mechanical Business Group for its North American Division, which formerly was part of the Commercial Industrial Business Group. He will be responsible for strategy development and execution planning to meet the needs of the mechanical contractor. Since joining Ferguson in 1986 as a trainee, Tavenner has served in outside sales, as a branch manager and a general manager. Most recently he was director of the Commercial Industrial Business Group.
In other news, Wolseley named Bill Thees waterworks business group owner for its North American Division.
Thees joined Ferguson in 1990 as a trainee and has since served as a branch manager and general manager. He has been area manager for waterworks businesses in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi since 2003.
