At the close of business Dec. 31, 2006, Canadian wholesaler BC Plumbing Supplies completed 100 years in the plumbing and heating industry.

BC Plumbing Supplies, now based in Burnaby, British Columbia, was acquired by B. A. Robinson Co. Ltd. in 1994, the fifth owner of the business. The company has branch locations in Burnaby, Vancouver, Abbotsford, Penticton and Kamloops. It operates the BCP Express open warehouse concept.

The wholesaler continues to operate a luxury plumbing showroom under the name, Elegant Bath Gallery, in Vancouver.

BC Plumbing Supplies was recognized as one of Canada’s “50 Best Managed Companies” in 2004 and has retained that designation for the past three years.
