Brad Sell, former executive vice president of the New England Wholesalers Association, received the 2006 American Cancer Society’s Volunteer of the Year Award for Southeastern Massachusetts. He was also honored earlier in November at the Partners for Healthier Communities Annual Legislative breakfast as their unanimous choice for an area service award. He continues his efforts to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of prostate cancer with speaking engagements and radio and cable television appearances while himself battling the disease.
