HD Supply Waterworks, a division of HD Supply, has acquired Heartland Waterworks Supply of Kansas City, MO. Heartland was founded more than 12 years ago and provides a diverse assortment of underground PVF, meters, castings and accessories.

With one location on seven acres of land, Heartland Waterworks is the largest water & sewer distributor in the Kansas City market and employs 21 associates. HD Supply Waterworks claims to be the nation’s largest waterworks distributor. With nearly 1,000 locations and more than 26,000 associates, HD Supply is one of the largest diversified wholesale distributors in North America.

The deal closed on Oct. 30, 2006. Terms were not disclosed.
