Danfoss has signed an agreement to acquire Chatleff Controls Inc., which was expected to be finalized Oct. 1, 2007. Chatleff Controls markets connectors and distributors for the U.S. residential air-conditioning market. The company has 250 employees and had net sales of about $42 million in 2006. Chatleff Controls will become part of the System & Assemblies business unit within the Danfoss Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning division.
