The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) announced the recipients of ARI’s inaugural Standards Achievement Award during ARI’s Spring Product Section meetings held in Reston, VA. The winners were Larry Howington, director of engineering, Hill PHOENIX, Conyers, GA; Gary Kaiser, advisory engineer, Standard Refrigeration Co., Melrose Park, IL; Gerald Peck, product development researcher, Lennox International Inc., Carrollton, TX; and Bill Walter, manager of industry relations, Carrier Corp., Syracuse, NY. With the award, ARI’s General Standards Committee sought to recognize recipients for their exceptional volunteer service and technical guidance in leading the development of industry standards.
