Underwriters Laboratories (UL) said it will provide testing and certification services for high-efficiency lavatory faucets and faucet accessories for the Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program. Also, UL launched a new Plumbing Mark that identifies plumbing products that comply with U.S. health-effects requirements and performance standards and are deemed suitable for use in accordance with both the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC).
