In other news, JDA Software Group announced that in partnership with New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (NOAHH), construction began in October 2007 on the ‘JDA’ home, made possible by the fundraising efforts of JDA Software and donations from its employees and FOCUS 2007 User Group Conference attendees. The raising of the home’s front wall was scheduled for Oct. 26, 2007, with JDA Software executives and local natives David Johnston, senior vice president of supply chain, and Wayne Usie, senior vice president of retail, onsite as part of the day’s volunteer building crew. The formal dedication of the home was scheduled for Dec. 13, when JDA Chief Executive Officer Hamish Brewer presented the keys and the home to a deserving family.
