Rexnord LLC announced that its affiliate, Zurn Industries, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the stock of GA Industries, Inc., which includes the Rodney Hunt Co., for a cash purchase price of $76 millon. Based in Cranberry, PA, GA manufactures automatic control valves and other flow control products for the water and wastewater industry. Combined sales of GA and Rodney Hunt are around $60 million. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the first quarter 2008.
