Tom Stoddard, age 96, retired after 80 years of working for Speakman Co. Five years ago Tom received a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records an employment record that cannot be matched by anyone in the world.
Stoddard started working at Speakman Co., Delaware, on Feb. 16, 1928 as an errand boy and timekeeper, and retired from working in the office on Feb. 15, 2008. He will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for the company. On his last day, an anniversary luncheon was held in his honor at the company.
