EMS Group, a Houston-based provider of operations and maintenance services to the energy industry, announced that Milo “Budd” Melvin has been appointed as director of EMS Canada. EMS recently acquired K&D Oilfield Services to expand its Canadian presence. Prior to joining EMS, Melvin was a market segment leader at Champion Technologies, a Houston-based specialty chemicals company serving the oil and gas industry.
