Joseph D. Barry, 84, who served as president of Barry Co. (Indianapolis, IN), a plumbing and heating wholesaler, from 1979 until 2004, died Aug. 31. He was active in various trade associations over the years, including the American Supply Association, Central Wholesalers Association and Indianapolis PHCC. He served in U.S. Gen. Patton’s 3rd Army in Europe during World War II. His three sons, J. David Barry, Thomas Barry and John Barry, are now involved in the family business.
