BrassCraft’s patented Safety+PLUS Excess Flow Valve promises to usher in a new standard of safety for natural gas. In the event of a gas line rupture or disconnect, the Safety+PLUS Valve immediately goes into action. A patented magnet-based mechanism inside restricts gas flow at the appliance to a non-hazardous level until appropriate repairs can be made. Once the gas line is properly repaired, the Safety+PLUS valve automatically resets, resuming gas flow to the appliance.
